Hey Guys and Gals.
There are a couple of very cool shows coming up soon that you need to plan for. Check out the information below and get your bags packed. If you make it to either one of these great shows be sure to make reservations now and let the event coordinators know you are coming.
First is the All Hemi Reunion being held at the Quaker City Drag Strip near Canfield Ohio on August 22-24. This event promises to be right up our alley. There will be the largest contingent of factory Super Stock and Pro Stock Cars ever gathered together in one place in many years. There will be Race Hemi cars EVERYWHERE!!! Factory 64 aluminum A864 cars, 65 A990s, altered wheelbase cars, the largest gathering of 68 Race Hemi Barracuda's and Dart's, Street Hemis and even an area for tribute recreation cars.
With gas prices and just about everything else going sky high this will probably be the only time such an event will ever happen again! Summer's almost over so break into that piggy bank, rob your kids college fund or grab your best interest rate credit card and hit the road for Ohio on August 22-24. There are cars coming from all over the country so don't miss this show. If you are lucky enough to own a Hemi car of any sort bring it with you. This event promises to be something you will remember and talk about the rest of your life. Rooms are filling up quickly so don't delay in making hotel reservations. Anybody that's anyone will be there. Will I see you there?

The second big show this year sounds like it is going to be a blast as well. On November 9th the Moroso Motor Sports Park will be hosting the "Memorial Classic Car Show & Nostalgia Drag Race" This will be an all makes nostalgia event that will be open to any 1972 and earlier car. There will be vintage Super Stocks, altered wheelbase cars, police package cars, clone and tribute cars in attendance. It sounds like there will be some pretty famous cars from all the brands there and famous drivers and owners are planning on attending. With the years going by at warp speed we are loosing many of these famous people. Like I said before this may be the last year many of us will be able to afford to go to big shows like this one. Check this show out and see if you can get there. By November, with winter coming on, I know I will be looking for a good reason to go to Florida, so this is the best reason yet!
